Andrew Waldron

Hello! My name is Andrew Waldron. I have set up this blog to document my journey whilst studying on the BA (Hons) Professional Practice in Arts and Creative Industries course through Middlesex University. I graduated from Italia Conti Academy in London in 2007 with a Level 6, Trinity Validated Professional Diploma in Musical Theatre. From here I was fortunate enough to work in the musical theatre industry for 10 years, performing in shows all around the world and working with a diverse variety of creatives and performers. Whilst performing, I continued to have a strong passion for teaching and eventually transitioned into this on a full time basis. This inspired me to complete my Level 5 Diploma in Education and complete my QTLS whilst working in my current full time position as Musical Theatre Diploma Course Leader at Italia Conti, and principal of my own franchise, Italia Conti Associate School in Frimley.  I am excited to be taking this journey to gain a stronger understanding of my own practice, and to develop and better myself within my own specialised field.
